THE RIDER
DANIEL FALZON
Daniel is 26 years old, and lives in metro Adelaide. Alongside his racing career, he has completed a four year Paramedicine University degree and internship with SA Ambulance and is currently practicing as a registered Paramedic.
After several successful years confidently moving through the classes of the Australian racing championship as a privateer, taking three Australian 600 Supersport championships, 2015 saw Daniel move up to competing at the highest pinnacle of Australian motorcycle racing, the Australian Superbike class. Aboard Yamaha since starting his career he was granted the honour of becoming a contracted factory rider in 2018 and later renewed his contract with Yamaha Race team in 2019.
Currently competing in the Australian Superbike Championship in the pinnacle Superbike class aboard the Yamaha R1

THE TEAM
The Jon Daniels Racing Team is a family-run, privateer, team with 13 years of racing experience on the national stage. Jon, older brother of Daniel, is a qualified mechanical engineer who has helped take our technical and data analysis to a level where we can successfully compete against the factory teams of Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Ducati. We employ two mechanics to complete the team and have proven we can work at a level equal to if not ahead of the Australian factory backed teams.
JD Racing has become very recognisable in race paddocks around Australia, our distinctive livery has been consistent over many seasons. We have completed 13 full seasons of national racing, taking Daniel through the feeder classes to his selection as a YRT factory rider in 2017, including running a team of three riders during 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Calling on his engineering background, Jon has led our team through technical changes at a very confident level. Data analysis and ECU tuning are his specialties which ensures Daniel has the bike he needs to produce the results

THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Australian championship series is run by Motorcycling Australia, the governing body of motorcycle sport. The Superbike class is considered the premiere racing category in Australia. The series is enjoying record breaking entries with between 35-50 riders packing the grids in 2019, included in this are five-factory backed teams.
In 2021 the series will continue to broadcast live to Australian audiences. The live coverage across both platforms saw 433,550 tuning in for the final round of the season. With an additional 1,615,900 views on the various live streaming links online.
In 2021, the series is run over 16 races, taking in circuits Australia wide. The season will start in Victoria, at the World Superbike round at Phillip Island. With 7 rounds following, including partnering with the V8 Supercars at Hidden Valley in the NT.
